With songwriter and producer credits on albums from artists such as Fred Hammond, Kim McFarland and the Soul Children of Chicago, and with plenty vocal experience in support of Commissioned, The Williams Brothers, Richard Marx and many others, young ones couldn’t be in better musical hands than with Steve Grissette.

Combining with his wife Amy on vocals, and with a hefty instrumental and production assists from industry heavyweight Daniel Weatherspoon, Promise of Peace is a intensity of twelve tranquil tracks of smoothed out soul, each written directly with the infant or toddler in mind.

The seed of this one-of-a-kind project came soon after the birth from their son, Christopher. The Grissettes wrote and recorded some songs in honor of his birth and entry into the world, and as they played them every night, they noticed how peacefully he slept. They also noticed how the atmosphere of the whole house changed whenever the songs were playing.
