After a three-year hiatus, Gina Green returns to the scene with her junior effort titled Tell ‘Um.

For those unfamiliar, Green is no stranger to the urban gospel community. A decade ago, Green released her debut project, In His Time, with Grapetree Records under the name Gina Brown, collaborating with The G.O.Gz during that time frame.

Now Green steps into the forefront with this fifteen-track effort that blends her passion for the Kingdom with zeal to spread God’s love throughout the world.

Though Grapetree was known for its heavy rap roster, Green was always a vocalist who chose crooning over rhyming. Tell ‘Um demonstrates Green’s artistic growth, as she presents a varied offering of urban praise.

One of the clear themes this time out is her passion for God, as evidenced on tracks such as “Hiding Place” and the soothing yet vertically driven love song “Lord I Love You”.

Equally evident is Green’s desire to share with others. Whether it’s presenting God’s love on “Testimony” and the title track, or feminine empowerment on “I’m Not Ashamed”, Green properly utilizes her platform to let her voice be heard.

With husband Isom Green, Jr. handling production efforts, Green has amassed a collection of songs that share her heart with the world while effectively spreading the love of God. This puts Green in a position to simply Tell ‘Um.
